Our Story

Our Autism Journey started April 2013 for (GB) and February 2015 for (Ahrion), it was a big challenge for sure but we wouldn't change anything about our handsome sons. They are unique in their own beautiful and ausome way.

Like many families with autistic children, we spent years hunting for clothing without scratchy tags, weighted items that felt just right, and gifts that celebrated neurodiversity instead of trying to hide it. Every win felt hard‑earned, and we wanted to make that journey easier for other families, caregivers, and autistic adults.

Meet The Designers

These are the autistic creatives whose ideas, feedback, and lived experience shape the products you see in the shop.

Ahrion

Autistic Artist & Idea Generator

“I design things I wish I had when I was younger — shirts without scratchy seams and sensory toys that feel satisfying to use.”

Ahrion loves experimenting with color, typography, and textures. Many of our tagless tee designs and awareness graphics started as doodles in their sketchbook or digital art on their tablet.

GB

Sensory Tester & Problem Solver

“My job is to say what feels off — too scratchy, too noisy, too heavy — until we get it right.”

GB is the one who stress‑tests fabrics, seams, and weighted items. Their feedback helps us choose materials that feel soothing on sensitive skin and weights that are grounding instead of overwhelming.

Biography Of Yana Bradshaw Bee (YB)

Portrait of Yana Bradshaw Bee (YB), founder of YB Ausome Shoppe.

Yana Bradshaw Bee, known to many as YB, is a devoted mother of two amazing and unique sons who have profoundly shaped her life’s purpose. Her journey into advocacy and awareness began when both of her sons were diagnosed with autism at different stages, each teaching her strength, patience, and unconditional love.

The Beginning Of The Journey

Her youngest son, GB, was diagnosed at the age of one. Doctors expressed concern early on because he wasn’t meeting developmental milestones. GB was nonverbal and often frustrated, seeming unhappy and unable to express his needs.

Doctors advised waiting until he turned three for an official diagnosis, but YB knew in her heart that early intervention was crucial.

Her older son, Ahrion, had initially met most early milestones. Around age five, she began noticing changes. He suddenly stopped doing many of the things he once could and began exhibiting new behaviors. Soon after, he too was diagnosed with autism.

Challenges And Discoveries

Both sons experienced sensory sensitivities and unique behaviors, including covering their ears, rocking heavily, flapping their hands, and other sensory-driven habits.

Communication was one of the greatest challenges, since both boys were nonverbal at one point. Refusing to give up, YB taught herself sign language, creating a bridge of understanding and connection with her children.

The road to finding the right medical care was far from easy. Many doctors failed to listen or provide support. Determined, she sought compassionate professionals who were willing to hear all concerns and truly understand her children’s needs.

Finding Purpose Through Advocacy

As she learned more about autism through research, YB realized how much more could be done not just for her sons, but for families everywhere navigating similar paths.

That desire to help led her to create an online store designed to support and empower families in the autism community.

Her vision also expanded into writing an eBook, sharing an honest and inspiring look into life as a parent of two neurodivergent children. Through that story, she hopes to remind other parents that they are not alone, and that love, perseverance, and faith can turn challenges into purpose.
